The Lakeside Creamery was founded in June of 1995 by entrepreneur Bill Meagher. The delicious scoops and homemade waffle cones, paired with a lakefront view, quickly made it a staple for tourists and locals alike. For the last 20 years, the Lakeside Creamery has been delighting visitors with delicious homemade ice cream and sherbets served on the shore of Deep Creek Lake. As Western Maryland’s premiere ice cream parlor, we aim to provide a higher standard of experience.

Our ice cream is made with cream from local dairy farms, fresh fruit, and high quality nuts and cookies. The Creamery recipes have been tested over and over until perfected, giving our 90 flavors a taste that is “like no udder”.
